What is 'Home' feature?
The ' Home' feature is typically the main Livestream page for events held on the Micepad platform. 'Home' is where attendees are able to watch the main event's livestream.
Optimal Viewing for Livestream
For optimal viewing of livestream, please ensure the following:
- Preferred device: Laptop/Macbook
- Other devices: Desktop, Tablet, iPad, Mobile device
- Your device is connected to a stable network service provider.
- Enter the event via web browser, preferrably the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.
- For livestreams with more than one language channel, kindly "Enter" the livestream of your preferred channel to view the stream in your preferred language.
Access 'Home' feature
- For hybrid events, upon entering the event via web browser, you are required to select an event mode.
- For attendees attending onsite, click "Onsite"
For attendees attending online, click "Virtual"
Note: Kindly do not select Virtual if you are attending onsite as you are viewing the event in-person. You are still able to access the audience engagement feature upon login.
- You may be asked to fill out an onboarding form before you can access the virtual event platform. If there isn't one, 'Home' is usually the first page you'll see after logging in successfully.
- Generally, the livestream will be located at the 'Home' feature.
Audience Engagement
- You will be able to take part in the Chat, Q&A or Poll on the right panel of the website (if applicable).
The left panel is where you navigate through different features.
Commonly Asked Questions for Live-streaming
- Unable to see live-stream/live-stream display on my device
- For hybrid events, please ensure you select "Virtual" when you first log into the event.
- Clear cache

- Please clear cache and refresh your page. Ensure that you are on Chrome browser and turn off your VPN.

- Overlapping audio
- Ensure that you only have one tab open for the event platform on your device and ensure that you enter the right channel to view the livestream.
- Unable to hear audio
- To ensure audio is playing on the livestream, please:
- a. Refresh your browser or pass play to view the stream
- b. Check your audio levels at the bottom left of the livestream and your device
- c. Check that you allow audio to be played on your browser

Note: Please ensure that you are on the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge browser.
If the problem persists, it could be streaming issue from the organizer's end.
